Emma's 8th Birthday

August 19, 2012 my baby girl turned 8! I can't believe she is growing up so fast! Her birthday was on a Sunday and she was very excited to get sung to in primary on her actual birthday! In the morning before church we let Emma open up her scriptures and scripture bag. She was very excited! She has been asking for a Bible for quite some time now. After church Grandma and Grandpa Trafzer and Uncle Ronnie and Aunt Sarah came over to have dinner, cake and open more presents. Her big present from mom and dad were tickets to see the Olympic Gymnastics team tour. She was very excited! Happy Birthday Emma Lou!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Emma's 8th Birthday Party

August 18th Emma celebrated her 8th birthday with her closest friends. Emma really wanted a swim party so the Seeley's were nice enough to loan their house to us for a few hours. The girls had pizza, cake (which I attempted all on my own since Grandma Clark was out of town!), ice cream and lots of fun! First Day of School 2012

The first day of School for Emma and Derrick was August 8. They were very excited to start school. As worried as I was to have them home all summer I was missing my little helpers with Grace when they went back to school! The kids both have fantastic teachers this year and we are excited to see what 1st and 3rd grades are all about!

 

 

 

 

5 Months Old

At 5 months old Grace likes to play "Super Grace" with dad, she still loves to play with her play mat (and was so excited to find the giant tag on it.  She is a taggie sucker!), she enjoys playing with Derrick and he loves to play with her.  Grace also has discovered Emma's favorite baby doll Daisy, but she loves her own baby too.  Her favorite new corner is over by her swing and she started eating in her high chair.  Emma is such a great big sister and reads books to her.  The kids are loving their baby!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Derrick was Star Student and brought home Skippy Jon Jones.  After a nice bath in the washing machine :)  Derrick wanted a picture with Grace and Skippy.
