November

In November the kids had Mustache Day at school. We decided last minute to draw some on. They were happy.  Emma and Derrick also decided to dress up and dance one night.  It was pretty funny.  They can be so silly sometimes.  My greatest discovery...I found the black hole that eats socks in the washing machine.  Too bad I didn't discover it before all those matches were thrown away.  I'm glad I was able to go and help in Derrick's class for their Thanksgiving feast.  It's always fun to be a part of the kids activities at school.  Jon made a beautiful pecan pie for Thanksgiving dinner at his mom's.  I say beautiful because I don't eat pecan pie.  But I could appreciate it's beauty while everyone else enjoyed it's taste.  Thanksgiving morning started with Jon and I running the Turkey Trot.  I only ran the 2 mile but was happy to come in under 20 minutes.  Jon ran the 10K and was happy to beat the turkey.  I'm glad he talked me into running my first race.  It was fun!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Grace 8 Months Old

At 8 months old our little Grace is finally scooting around.  She loves swinging outside! New foods were introduced like wagon wheels and Gerber biscuits.  She can fall asleep pretty much anywhere when she's tired and always looks so cute when she sleeps.
