Friday we went to The Groves Mall with one purpose in mind, The American Girl Store!  Emma earned a doll by her good behavior leading up to the trip.  She was so excited!  We browsed for quite awhile before she decided on the new girl, Caroline.  She really is a pretty doll.  Emma loves her!  While we were at the mall we passed by the filming of Entertainment Tonight.  And one of the hosts is Mario Lopez.  I was so excited to see AC Slater, I had to stop and take a pic!  On the way back from the mall we introduced Jon's family to a Clark tradition.  I'm not sure it was well received!  But you can't have a trip to L.A. without eating at Philippe's and Olvera Street.  French dipped sandwiches, rolled tacos with delicious green sauce and filled churros.  YUM!  After shopping and eating we decided to go to the beach.  We went to Hunnington Beach and it was beautiful!  It was very cold but the kids didn't care.  They jumped right in and had a blast!  Then we warmed up in the heated pool back at the hotel.  After showering and cleaning up we met Ron and Sarah for dinner at Buca Di Beppo and Emma ate calamari as I turned my head in disgust!  But I'm glad she enjoys all kinds of food.  I don't! :)  It was a fun day!
