Backstage

During intermission my sister and I were out in the lobby and I saw a sign that said "Backstage Tours $3 per person". I thought it might be fun for the girls and was just about to ask Jeni if she wanted to do it when the guy by the sign asked if we wanted tickets. Jeni said "No, thanks". But, then he offered them to us for free! So we took them! After the show we took the girls backstage and they got to go under the giant skirt of Mother Ginger, go on the stage, see the snow fall, meet some of the dancers and see the costumes and dressing rooms. Emma was very excited about the snow, she kept telling me that was her favorite part of the Ballet! And on a side note, did you know that they use potato flakes for the snow? Emma loved meeting the dancers and got their autographs and took pictures with them. I think we will definitely make this a Christmas tradition!
